Beyond the city line the everyday runs get simpler and more small-town. Flushing is a walkable downtown block on Coutant Street with the river just below it, and Flushing Flowers is on that block. Grand Blanc runs south along Hill and Holly Roads, Swartz Creek west, Davison and Clio east and north, Montrose and Gaines at the rim.
