01
Standards we follow
We target WCAG 2.1 Level AA across the entire customer experience. Our internal design system enforces color contrast, keyboard interaction, and focus management at the component level - so accessibility is checked into code, not bolted on at the end.
02
What we ship
- Full keyboard navigation across the entire site.
- Screen-reader friendly markup (semantic HTML, ARIA where it helps).
- Visible focus indicators on every interactive element.
- Color contrast meets or exceeds 4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text.
- Alt text on every meaningful image. Decorative images marked as such.
- Forms that announce errors in plain language, not generic codes.
- Skip-to-content link on every page.
- Respect for
prefers-reduced-motionacross all animations.
03
Known gaps
We're honest about what isn't there yet:
- Compare map sidebar on the florist comparison page needs an enhanced screen-reader list view. Shipping Q3 2026.
- Gift-card design picker is keyboard-navigable but missing high-contrast variants. Shipping with gift-card launch in v1.1.
- Florist photo carousels on storefront pages don't yet expose a text-list fallback. Tracking in our backlog.
