Will roses survive a Michigan February delivery?
+
Yes, if the studio handles them properly and the delivery is a handoff rather than a porch drop. Water in a vase freezes, and a hand-tie in an open car at fifteen degrees comes out with translucent petal edges that brown by evening. These shops work in this climate year-round: cold sleeves, heated staging, short runs. What we ask from you is the part we cannot control — someone home, or a mobile number so the driver has a last option. From December through March, do not plan on flowers sitting outside. Write it in the notes and the studio will hold for a re-attempt or hand off to a neighbor you name instead.
How much should I spend on romance flowers here?
+
The listed arrangements in this selection start at $38.94. Delivery charges, taxes and optional extras are confirmed for the selected florist and recipient before payment.
Do red roses have to be red?
+
On the fourteenth, usually yes — it is the shorthand and most people want it. But red roses are also the most demand-squeezed flower of the year that week, and in the second week of February a garden-rose mix, or a design built on lisianthus, ranunculus and spray roses, is frequently a better piece for the same money. It also does not look like the identical bouquet forty other people on the street received. For a long relationship, a flowering plant is worth considering: it is still on the windowsill in April, which in Michigan counts for something. Tell the studio the register you want and let them build to it.
My partner works an afternoon shift. When can you deliver?
+
Tell us the shift and the studio will work to it, which is routine here — Macomb County runs on plant schedules and a household where one person works afternoons at Stellantis Sterling Heights Assembly or Warren Truck, or an early shift at the GM Global Technical Center on Van Dyke, is not both home at six. A morning delivery before they leave is usually the answer. If you want it to reach them at work, send to the gatehouse, visitor center or staffed reception rather than to a desk: the plants and the secured campuses like General Dynamics on Mound Road and the Detroit Arsenal are badge-controlled and a courier cannot reach a floor.
Can you deliver to Selfridge Air National Guard Base?
+
Selfridge sits in Harrison Township a short drive east, home to the 127th Wing, and it is inside the 18-mile radius our benches work. Base delivery follows base access rules rather than ours, which in practice means a visitor center, gate or unit front desk rather than a building on the flight line, and the recipient's full name and unit are required. For a long-distance romance order to a service member or a spouse, sending to the family's off-base Clinton Township, Harrison Township or Mount Clemens address is usually simpler and more reliable. Note the situation in the order and the studio will advise before it builds.
It is a surprise, or a proposal. How do I handle that?
+
Write it in the order notes, and include the recipient's mobile number anyway. Our studios use that number only to avoid a failed delivery, never to announce one in advance — and a bouquet on a step in a February wind is not a surprise. For a proposal, say so explicitly: every one of these ten shops treats that order differently, and several will call you back to get the timing and the build right. If the evening is downtown Detroit, remember the township has no hotel or concierge desk and downtown is outside our radius, so deliver to the house in the afternoon and let the night start with the flowers already in hand.
