All of it is lovely and none of it has a reception desk that will hold a vase of water for you through an afternoon. So the practical answer for romance here is almost always the same: the flowers go to the house, in the morning, before the evening starts.
Fruitvale Avenue, Cox Avenue, Allendale and Quito Road north and east of Highway 85 are curb-and-doorbell stops at any hour. Hakone Estate and Gardens above Big Basin Way is one of the oldest Japanese-style residential gardens in the Western Hemisphere, and the road past it becomes Congress Springs Road climbing toward Skyline — the standard Saratoga romantic drive. Gardens close in the afternoon and the upper road has no addresses to speak of, so this is scenery, not a delivery point.
Cooper-Garrod and Mount Eden Vineyards sit up Mount Eden Road and Savannah-Chanelle is out Congress Springs Road, the Santa Cruz Mountains tasting stops nearest to town; the Saratoga Country Club is on Prospect Road.
