Flowers for Rehoboth Beach, DE

The whole town points at the ocean. Rehoboth Avenue runs straight from the Route 1 highway down to the bandstand and the mile of boardwalk, and everything a florist delivers is arranged relative to that line — the numbered streets north and south of the avenue, the quieter estate lanes of Henlopen Acres, the cottages of North Shores, and the summer rentals packed onto every block within walking distance of the sand. In winter this is a small coastal town of a few thousand; from Memorial Day to Labor Day it swells many times over, and the flower orders shift with it — beach-house welcome arrangements, birthday deliveries to rentals full of family, sympathy pieces for Sussex County services, and the steady run of small beach weddings that fill the season.
