Flowers for Pembroke, NC

Say you want to send a graduation bouquet to a senior crossing the stage at UNC Pembroke: that order lands with Monikasbeyondthe Garden, the town's own florist, and it moves across a campus and a community that carry real history. Pembroke is the seat of the Lumbee Tribe and the anchor of Native education in the Southeast — the university started in 1887 as a school for the Lumbee people and still shapes the town's identity as the home of the Braves. The place itself is small and flat, laid out along Third Street and Union Chapel Road in the middle of Robeson County's farm country, with the campus on one side and the river communities of Prospect, Saddletree, and Pembroke Farms spreading out around it. Flower deliveries follow that mix: the university's dorms and offices, the churches that hold the sympathy calendar, and the long rural roads where an address is a family homeplace out among the fields.
