Can I send get-well flowers same-day to an Indianapolis hospital?
+
Same-day options depend on the delivery ZIP, requested date, florist availability and that florist's local cutoff. Check the available options before paying; a city listing does not guarantee delivery today.
Which Indianapolis hospitals do you deliver to?
+
All of the metro's major campuses. IU Health Methodist Hospital (1701 N Senate Blvd — the largest hospital in Indiana and a Level I trauma center), IU Health University Hospital (550 University Blvd) and the IU Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center, Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health (705 Riley Hospital Drive), Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital (720 Eskenazi Ave), the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center (1481 W 10th St), Ascension St. Vincent Indianapolis (2001 W 86th St) and Peyton Manning Children's Hospital, Community Hospital East, North and South, the Community Heart and Vascular Hospital, Franciscan Health Indianapolis (8111 S Emerson Ave), OrthoIndy Hospital, the Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana, plus IU Health North in Carmel, West in Avon and Saxony in Fishers.
What makes a bouquet hospital-floor compliant in Indianapolis?
+
Four rules cover almost every refusal at a door. Lily-free on oncology, bone-marrow-transplant and stem-cell floors and on the pediatric hematology-oncology units at Riley and Peyton Manning Children's — lily pollen is the single most common reason an arrangement is turned away. Low pollen overall, with anthers removed and no open stargazers. Scent-free for ICU, neuro-ICU, cardiac step-down and post-surgical recovery, where fragrance in a closed room affects a patient on oxygen. Latex-free for pediatric and transplant units, which excludes standard balloons. Tell us the unit in the order notes and the studio builds to that rule rather than substituting at the door.
Can you deliver flowers to Riley Hospital for Children?
+
Yes, and Riley gets the strictest build on the Indianapolis grid. It is the state's pediatric flagship on the IU Health downtown campus (705 Riley Hospital Drive), and its hematology-oncology, cardiac and intensive care units apply no-lily, low-pollen, scent-free and latex-free rules together. The practical design is a small, low bouquet a child can see over from a bed — spray roses, lisianthus, alstroemeria and green hydrangea in a short cube — rather than a tall vase that crowds a bedside table. Latex balloons are out; a small plush or a book is the add-on that clears the rule. Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at Ascension St. Vincent applies the same standard.
What if flowers are not allowed on the floor?
+
It happens more than people expect, and it is not a delivery failure. Protective-isolation, bone-marrow-transplant and some intensive-care units at IU Health, Ascension St. Vincent and Franciscan Health do not permit fresh flowers or plants in the patient room at all, because of infection-control policy rather than any individual arrangement. In that case the studio delivers to the unit desk or the family waiting area, where the family collects it, or holds and redirects to the patient's home address if you prefer. This is why a working phone number for the recipient or a family member matters more for get-well than for any other occasion.
Do you deliver get-well flowers to Indianapolis senior living and rehab facilities?
+
Yes. The Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana on Shore Drive takes most of the post-stroke and post-trauma rehab volume, and the metro's senior communities — Marquette on Township Line Road, Westminster Village North on the northeast side, Robin Run Village on West 62nd Street, American Village on East 54th Street, Hoosier Village toward Zionsville and Altenheim in Beech Grove among them — all run reception-desk handoffs rather than direct room delivery. Give us the resident's full name and the building or wing. Low, wide arrangements and plants work better than tall vases in a resident room, and a plant gives someone something to tend during a long recovery.
