Anniversary flowers in Torrance

Anniversaries in the South Bay carry a lot of Palos Verdes in them. For decades the Wayfarers Chapel on the cliffs in Rancho Palos Verdes — Lloyd Wright's glass-and-redwood church, finished in 1951 and set in a grove of redwoods above the ocean — was where couples from Torrance, Redondo, San Pedro and half of Los Angeles County got married; it was dismantled in 2024 after the Portuguese Bend land movement destabilized the site, with the pieces saved for rebuilding elsewhere. An anniversary delivery here is more likely to be a single-story porch on a street with mature ficus than a downtown high-rise, and that changes what works.

Closer in, the Torrance Marriott Redondo Beach at 3635 Fashion Way is attached to the Del Amo corridor, the DoubleTree by Hilton Torrance South Bay is at 21333 Hawthorne Boulevard, and the Miyako Hybrid Hotel at 21381 South Western Avenue in 90501 serves the Japanese business community that grew up around the Honda and Toyota campuses. Manhattan Beach Marriott on Parkview Avenue rounds out the north end. Concierge and front-desk drops at all of these are ordinary work — but a hotel delivery needs the guest's full name as it appears on the reservation, and it is worth confirming the check-in date, because a bouquet that arrives a day before the room is occupied sits in a back office.
