Flowers for Stow, OH

Green is the first thing people notice about Stow. The Bike & Hike Trail threads through it, the Cuyahoga River and Fish Creek cut across it, and Silver Springs Park spreads out at the north end with its lake and campground. Underneath the tree cover, this is a Summit County commuter town built around the Stow-Kent shopping district and the Stow-Munroe Falls schools, its houses spread across the Graham Road and Darrow Road neighborhoods and up toward the Hudson line. The delivery calendar follows the town's life — Bulldogs football brings homecoming and graduation orders, the office corridors along Kent and Darrow generate coworker sends, and the Route 8 and Route 91 commute carries a steady flow of get-well arrangements toward the Akron hospitals where so many residents work.
