Flowers for Plymouth, WI

There is a fiberglass cow named Antoinette watching over downtown Plymouth, and that tells you most of what you need about the place — this is cheese country, the old cold-storage and cheese-exchange town that still calls itself the Cheese Capital of the World. Sartori and the trade that grew around it keep the offices and plants busy, while the Mullet River threads a tidy downtown of brick storefronts along Mill Street. Delivery days here run tight in the center — the shops, the schools off Highway 23, and the Generac and Sartori workplaces are all close together — then widen out to the subdivisions on the east side and, most memorably, the resort strip toward Elkhart Lake, where a same-day order might be headed for a wedding at the Osthoff or a suite booked for a Road America weekend.
