Can I send sympathy flowers same-day in Philadelphia?

Same-day options depend on the delivery ZIP, requested date, florist availability and that florist's local cutoff. Check the available options before paying; a city listing does not guarantee delivery today.

Can you handle Philly Quaker (Religious Society of Friends) funeral protocols?
+
Yes — the Philadelphia Quaker heritage is core to Philly sympathy work. Quaker memorial services (held at Arch Street Friends Meetinghouse + Old Pine Street + Race Street Friends Meetinghouses + various Yearly Meeting locations) follow the Friends tradition: silent worship + spontaneous spoken remembrances + no scheduled program + no ritual flowers at the meeting itself (donations to Quaker concerns, AFSC American Friends Service Committee, FCNL Friends Committee on National Legislation, or charity in the deceased's name preferred). For Quaker families who do appreciate flowers, a small understated cut-arrangement to the home or simple plant arrangement after the service is appropriate. Friends Southwestern Burial Ground at 1700 South 65th Street is the historic Quaker burial ground. Bringhurst Funeral Home in Mt. Airy (historic 1872) handles many Philadelphia Quaker services with appropriate restraint.
