Flowers for Peoria, AZ

Peoria runs about fifteen miles north to south, and that shape is the whole delivery problem. Old Town sits down by Peoria Avenue and 83rd, near the Peoria Center for the Performing Arts and the municipal complex, with Park West and the Grand Avenue corridor a few minutes west. Push north past Bell Road and you hit the P83 entertainment district and the Peoria Sports Complex — spring-training home of the Padres and Mariners — then Westbrook Village, then the newer subdivisions of Fletcher Heights, Terramar, and Sunrise Mountain. Keep going and you're in Vistancia and Trilogy, up where the pavement thins out toward Lake Pleasant. A florist who works these streets reads an address and already knows whether it's a gated community with a callbox, a spring-training week when Bell Road is parked solid, or a straight shot up Lake Pleasant Parkway. A national warehouse boxing stems for a courier does not, and it shows up in the flowers.
