Flowers for Okeechobee, FL

Okeechobee is the county seat and the main town on the north shore of Lake Okeechobee, an inland ranching community where the deliveries look different from the coastal metros. Downtown runs along Park Street and Parrott Avenue where US-441 and US-98 meet, with the historic county courthouse and the wide brick main street at its center; the Taylor Creek and Treasure Island neighborhoods sit east toward the water, and the ranches, the Kissimmee River communities, and the fish camps spread out along SR-70 and the lake. HCA Florida Raulerson Hospital anchors the get-well and sympathy volume, the funeral homes and churches carry the steady sympathy orders, and the rodeo grounds and the Okeechobee Livestock Market give the town its character. A hand-tied bouquet here should come from a florist who knows those back roads — not a warehouse boxing stems three states away for cross-country shipping.
