Flowers for Ogden, UT

Ogden grew up as a railroad city, and you still feel it: Union Station anchors the foot of Historic 25th Street, the tracks fan out across the west side, and the whole grid climbs east from the yards to the bench where the Wasatch shoots straight up under Ben Lomond and Mount Ogden. That shape governs how flowers move here. The busy addresses are the East Bench — Weber State University and Intermountain McKay-Dee Hospital both sit up off Harrison Boulevard — while 25th Street's restaurants and event spaces draw the anniversary and celebration deliveries, and the neighborhoods spread north to Pleasant View and Harrisville and south to Riverdale and South Ogden. Order on the numbered grid and a local designer can be at a downtown loft, a bench hospital room, or a canyon-mouth bungalow within a couple of hours. Push up Ogden Canyon toward Huntsville and Eden and the mileage stretches, but the arrangement still starts in Weber County that morning.
