Birthday flowers in NoHo

NoHo sends birthday flowers the way it does everything else — with loft literacy. The neighborhood is barely a dozen cast-iron blocks between Houston Street and Astor Place, but the buildings run on their own rules: a Broadway or Lafayette loft might buzz a runner up in a freight elevator, while a converted Bond Street building routes through a doorman lobby, and a Great Jones showroom needs a reception hand-off with a named recipient. A NoHo birthday send needs a florist who knows which cast-iron building takes the freight approach versus the front desk. The design and fashion showrooms along Bond and Great Jones absorb the corporate + client birthday sends timed to studio hours, and the Public Theater block on Lafayette, Joe's Pub, and the Astor Place / Cooper Union edge round out the milestone-birthday routing — arrangements that land at a stage door, a Cooper Union entrance, or a boutique-hotel front desk along Lafayette and the Bowery.
