Birthday flowers in Brooklyn Heights

Brooklyn Heights sends birthday flowers with the same building literacy the rest of the neighborhood runs on. The landmarked brownstone grid from Montague Street north to Middagh and along Columbia Heights over the Promenade is prewar co-op + carriage-house territory — the studio's runner delivers to the doorman where one is present and logs it, or leaves it at the parlor floor for a walk-up per the resident's standing preference. A birthday send to a Montague Street co-op needs a florist who knows which buildings log deliveries at the desk versus a vestibule drop. Below the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges, DUMBO's waterfront condo towers — One Brooklyn Bridge Park, 1 John Street, the Clock Tower, 60 Water, Front & York — take birthday surprises through the building concierge, timed around the cobblestone loading windows on Water and Front Streets. And the Borough Hall corridor around Court, Montague, and Remsen Streets generates steady milestone and colleague birthday sends to law-office reception desks and the courthouse cluster at Cadman Plaza.
