Flowers for Muncie, IN

Muncie runs on its two anchors — Ball State University on the north side and IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital just west of it — and most of the town's flowers move between them and the neighborhoods in between. A campus order might be a bouquet to a LaFollette dorm room or a sorority house off Riverside; an hour later the same shop is dropping a get-well arrangement at Ball Memorial on West University. Downtown, the restored Walnut Street district and the county courthouse draw office and celebration deliveries, while McGalliard Road handles the retail and restaurant volume out toward Yorktown. This is the town that sociologists once studied as "Middletown," and the delivery map still reflects that ordinary-American shape: a college, a hospital, a main street, and quiet grids of houses along the White River.
