About Lemont
Where we deliver in Lemont.
Lemont was cut from limestone. The dolomite quarried out of the Des Plaines River valley in the canal-building years built the old downtown that still climbs the bluff along Main and State Streets, and it built churches all over town — enough that Lemont earned the nickname the Village of Faith. That inheritance still steers a lot of the flower calendar here: sympathy sprays for services at St. Patrick's and Ss. Cyril and Methodius, wedding work for the historic stone chapels and the bluff-top venues, and Sunday and holiday arrangements for congregations that have anchored these hills for generations.
