Can I send get-well flowers same-day to a Henderson hospital?
+
Same-day options depend on the delivery ZIP, requested date, florist availability and that florist's local cutoff. Check the available options before paying; a city listing does not guarantee delivery today.
Which Henderson-area hospitals do you deliver to?
+
All three Henderson campuses and the wider valley ring. Inside the city: Henderson Hospital in Union Village on West Galleria Drive, St. Rose Dominican's Siena Campus on St. Rose Parkway, St. Rose Dominican's Rose de Lima Campus on East Lake Mead Parkway, and Seven Hills Hospital on West Horizon Ridge Parkway for behavioral health. Inside the 18-mile radius: Sunrise Hospital and Sunrise Children's on South Maryland Parkway, University Medical Center on West Charleston with Nevada's only Level I trauma centre, Desert Springs on East Flamingo, St. Rose San Martín on West Warm Springs and Southern Hills on West Sunset. The VA campus in North Las Vegas is outside the ring and needs a scheduled order.
Are flowers allowed in ICU, oncology or transplant units?
+
Often not, and the unit decides. As a general matter, intensive care, transplant and bone-marrow units frequently prohibit fresh flowers and live plants entirely, because potting soil and standing water carry fungal spores that are genuinely dangerous to an immunocompromised patient, and because an ICU room has no surface to spare. Neonatal intensive care is almost always closed to flowers. Oncology floors vary by unit. The two-minute fix is a phone call to the nurse station before you order. If flowers are out, a card, a soft blanket or something for the family in the waiting room is the gift that actually arrives.
Why are your Henderson get-well designs lily-free?
+
Because lilies are the most commonly refused flower on a hospital floor, for three separate reasons. The pollen sheds heavily and stains linens and gowns. The scent is strong enough to trigger nausea in a patient on chemotherapy or coming out of anaesthesia. And on a respiratory floor the pollen itself is the problem. So every get-well design here is built without lilies by default, using low-pollen and low-fragrance material instead — spray roses, alstroemeria, carnation, chrysanthemum, gerbera, orchid and green foliage. If you want a specific palette held, note it at checkout; the studio will substitute like-for-like within the low-pollen rule rather than reach for a lily.
What should I send to a behavioral health unit like Seven Hills Hospital?
+
Generally not flowers. Behavioral health units, as a rule, do not accept glass vessels, ribbon, wire, string or anything breakable or tie-able, which rules out most of what a florist builds — and the restrictions exist for good reasons that are not worth arguing with. Call the unit and ask what they do accept: it is often a card, a paperback, a soft item without drawstrings, or nothing brought in at all. Then send the flowers to the person's home for the day they are discharged, or to the family member carrying the load at home, who is usually the one nobody thinks to send anything to.
Should I send to the hospital or wait until they are home?
+
If the stay is longer than a couple of days, the hospital is fine. If discharge is close, send to the home address — get-well flowers that arrive after a patient leaves get held at a receiving desk, forwarded or simply wasted, and the recovery at home lasts far longer than the admission did. Henderson home recoveries run across Green Valley and Green Valley Ranch (89012, 89014, 89074), Anthem and Sun City Anthem (89044, 89052), Seven Hills and MacDonald Highlands (89052), Inspirada (89044), Cadence and Lake Las Vegas (89011), Whitney Ranch (89014) and the Townsite (89015). Gated streets need the recipient's phone number on the order.
How much does a Henderson get-well bouquet cost, and what size fits a room?
+
The listed arrangements in this selection start at $32.49. Delivery charges, taxes and optional extras are confirmed for the selected florist and recipient before payment.
Can I add balloons or food to a Henderson hospital delivery?
+
Ask first. Latex balloons are widely prohibited in hospitals because of patient and staff allergy, and a growing number of facilities refuse balloons of any material; a mylar balloon that gets turned away at the door is money spent on nothing. Food is its own problem, because a patient may be on a restricted diet, nil by mouth before a procedure, or unable to taste anything at all mid-treatment. Two safer additions: something the family can use during a long day at the bedside, or a plant for the home rather than the room — though remember that potted soil is exactly what immunocompromised units exclude.
