Can I really get same-day flowers this far north?

Why do Interior bouquets cost more than they would down south?

Distance and freight. Fairbanks is nearly four hundred road miles from Anchorage, and every cut stem either flies into Fairbanks International or trucks up the Parks Highway before a designer ever touches it — the coldest, farthest stretch of a long supply chain. That puts a mid-sized hand-tied near $59 and premium work past $200. The trade-off is a real local arrangement, freshly built, instead of a box shipped from the Lower 48.

Does Fairbanks cover North Pole and the outlying borough?
