Flowers for Evart, MI

Evart is a river town first. The Muskegon curls right along the south edge of the little city, and the parks and the fairgrounds that hug it are the reason Evart's name travels far beyond Osceola County — every July the Original Dulcimer Players Club Funfest turns the fairgrounds into a week of hammered-dulcimer music and campers, one of the largest gatherings of its kind anywhere. The rest of the year the town is a compact grid of Main Street storefronts and quiet residential blocks, with US-10 running the north side as the through-route between Reed City and Clare. For flower delivery the shape of the day is simple in town and longer out of it: a Main Street or riverside address is a quick hop, but a good share of orders head out to homes on the county roads toward Sears, Hersey, and Marion, where the driver works by mailbox numbers along the gravel and plans the miles before dark.
