Flowers for Easley, SC

Easley grew up around cotton mills and now wakes up early to commute the fifteen minutes into Greenville, and its flower orders read like both of those lives at once. Downtown deliveries land on the older grid off Main and First, in the mill-village blocks of the West End, and at the shops along the revived town center; the newer volume moves out Highway 8 and into the fast-growing Powdersville subdivisions edging toward the Anderson County line. Get-well arrangements ride over to Baptist Easley Hospital on Fleetwood Drive, the town's medical anchor, while spring brings a run of bouquets to walkers finishing the Doodle Trail, the old rail bed that now carries people on foot from Easley to Pickens. It is a foothills town — flat enough downtown, then quickly rolling toward the Blue Ridge escarpment north of US-123.
